Lift Phone Line Solution

A lift phone line using access control that will replace your existing emergency lift analogue phone line.

 

With the phasing out of the analogue phone lines in NZ you need to ensure that your lift phone will still work in an emergency. Your lift has a button that when pushed dials out and goes straight to a monitored station.

 

Insight EDS can install an access control solution that provides a phone line in your lift. This phone line connects to an analogue telephone adaptor (ATA). It uses SIP protocol which in effect turns a VOIP digital connection into analogue. This allows the existing technology in the lift to communicate with the digital cloud and monitoring station.

 

You also legally need to ensure that the phone line in the lift has 4 hours of power and 1 hour of continual use. The access control system monitors the power supply and ensures the batteries are maintained through servicing. This fulfills your legal requirements. It also gives you peace of mind that in an emergency there is a phone line connection.
