Hosted Access Control for Tennis NZ Case Study

Coldstream Tennis Club in the South Island has been recognised by Business South Magazine for their new courts, facilities and access-controlled gates hosted by Insight EDS.

Insight EDS hosts Tennis NZ’s online booking system back end.

 

Members can log onto their club’s website and request a booking. They are then sent a code which gives them access through the gates at their designated booking time.

 

The code opens the gate as well as turning on the lights if needed.

 

Insight has rolled out 45 tennis clubs across NZ.

 

Feedback from the clubs and members is that it is super-efficient and makes it so much easier to manage the bookings, access and security of the sites. The club manager no longer has to run down to the club with the key to let members in or organise someone else to have the key.

 

Having the access control on the gates also helps ensure the tennis clubs are capturing the revenue from the courts being used.

 

The club administrators can view and manage their own bookings and access via an online app.
